THE MASTER-DISCIPLE RELATIONSHIP Q. It dawned on me that I was now entering 'discipleship' and could become one of the closest ones, if proven worthy of it. A. If it helps you for now to think in terms of discipleship, then well and good, and, of course, we are always a disciple/student of some greater body of consciousness in this hierarchical universe. However, you will soon realize that there is no disciple or master. Indeed, there is no 'other' in Christ. In Love and Purpose we are just One, while to think in terms of the master and the disciple is to perpetuate the illusion of separation. Things are a little different today on Earth than in the past,
and the guru-disciple relationship - in its more strict sense - is of
the old world consciousness. Unity Consciousness is of the new
paradigm. Global community in the New World - even on Earth - will
consist only of divine friends who will sometimes be teachers and
sometimes students of one another. Q. I have been practising meditation now for 20 years but with very little results. Can you prescribe a meditation practise? A. At this time, active spiritual service is the meditation of the greatest value. I say this bearing in mind the requirements for the Harvest. The Law of Service is one of the new and exacting Aquarian laws for planet Earth and the new humanity. Once you have realized what is at stake today for mankind, you will not wish to lose one second in spreading the auspicious news to the human family, and so in serving others by sounding the Call and so offering a field of service, which is the greatest blessing anyone can give or simultaneously receive. For as we serve, we are served and blessed. In true, selfless, spiritual service you will witness with great delight that you are beginning to experience the 'New Jerusalem', right here and now. You will then come to understand how the New Heaven and the New Earth are constructed, since you will have become a pillar in the Temple of God. Q. Is it necessary to practise techniques such as 'merkaba breathing' in order to prepare the light body for ascension? A. Merkaba meditation is a very advanced technique that was given to advanced initiates in Egypt. Such initiates were first required to attain a high level of purity before such secrets were bestowed to them. Otherwise there would have been much danger involved for the practitioner and also for humanity, for if such a technique had been used by the uninitiated (the impure) then the psychic powers that may have been attained would have almost certainly been used for selfish or at best compromsied purposes. Thus, such techniques were kept secret by the Hierophants in order to prevent the spread of black magic. The merkaba meditations were used in past by ripe souls who were keen to leave the prison of the fallen kingdom, and only for such exceptional individuals were these techniques made available. Today, however, the majority of students of the merkaba teachings are ordinary people who do not possess the degree of purity or spiritual stamina to truly benefit from the practice. They are for the most part wasting their time, or worse, and the kind of teachers who publicly instruct in these techniques are among the many "false prophets and false Christs" who were prophesied to rise in the world at this time. There are many now, today, who are teaching this very dangerous technique indiscriminately to all and sundry as long as they can pay for the tuition. Although the words 'love' and 'compassion' are used by these teachers, very few people have established these divine qualities in themselves, and if they had, then they would not be seeking false, unenlightened teachers, for they would realize that the intelligence of Love, of Christ itself takes care of the merkaba/light body automatically ("Let Christ do the work in you."); we do not need to focus on such things, and if we do, then in focussing on self rather than God, how can we become a conduit for divine Love in the world? Can you imagine Jesus practicing such techniques while he saw all the suffering in the world? No. Jesus came to open up the Way to New Life, and such is the immediate and constant duty of all Servers of the Divine Plan - past, present and future. The noblest spiritual practice is selfless service. Through a truly loving attitude, our auric fields become purified naturally, safely and effortlessly, and in joy and with purpose. The truly spiritual life is the simple life. Forget yourself, find Love in your heart, and let God do the rest. Q. What brings a particular soul and microcosm together? Does one soul re-embody within the same microcosm from start to transfiguration, or are we randomly assigned microcosm's in every new incarnation? A. It is God who is incarnating: an aspect of a life-wave of the One Universal Spirit, not an individualized soul with a separate life and concerns unique to itself. Imagine a number of concentric circles, like ripples on a pond. Each circle represents a life-wave, a radiation sent forth from the Divine Mind in order to reap experience and therefore contribute toward the Universal Creation. Such a life-wave constitutes a segment of the Body of God. Some of these circles/waves will be further out from the centre, from the Heart of God, and they will therefore be less evolved or advanced than other life-waves that are closer to the Great Central Sun. Now there will be a great number of untransfigured microcosms waiting to have their karma balanced by the incarnation of the various life-waves. It is not an individual soul that incarnates into the microcosms but a fragment of the life-wave. You may further grasp this idea by considering a bucket of water as the life-wave and a droplet of dye as the returning experience of the latest incarnation of a life-wave fragment. When the droplet of dye returns to its life-wave, the colour of the dye is spread throughout the whole of the life-wave (i.e., it is diffused throughout the whole bucket of water). When it is time for an aspect of the life-wave again to incarnate into the same, yet modified, microcosm, a fresh and altogether different fragment of the life-wave will individualize and incarnate. The word 'soul' is interchangeable with microcosm. Both are
temporary lives. When the soul/microcosm attains transfiguration, there
is no more individuation necessary, for there is no more karma to be
worked out. Q. We too may perform "miracles", upon realizing that all the resources for happiness, personal power, strength, love and clarity, lie within... A. But it is not 'we' who do those miracles, is it? It is God. Magic just happens around saints. Often the saint does not even consciously know about some of the miracles' effects. The Mysterious Virtue! By telling infant human beings that it is possible for them to achieve such powers is to tempt them to seek for self, as so many people do today on Earth. We must look to God if we would court divine Grace and so behold true Miracles. Q. I guess when I meet someone who can walk on water or demonstrate he or she is hundreds of years old (continuously in the same body) then I will re-look at blind faith. A. Black magicians can walk on water and perform other 'miracles'. One only requires to have power over the lesser illusions of physical matter. Some powerful spiritual leaders in the world today are adept at expressing certain aspects of their higher, yet nevertheless undivine self, perhaps by way of performing miracles of healing, manifestation, bi-location, psychic influences of all kinds, etc., and they may even bring the dead back to life! Such are just some of the occult powers belonging to the mighty lipika-being- the higher self of the fallen soul.. Also, in the state of mystical-religious exaltation, the personality-self is often overshadowed by the higher self, the lipika, which is not divine, yet while the ignorant man regards such overshadowing as an experience of special divine grace, in reality he encounters nothing more than his own fallen auric prototype. Yet, Jesus displayed each and every one of the aforementioned skills. Buddha could certainly demonstrate them, as could every enlightened Teacher throughout history. Clearly the difference is the relationship to the phenomena. If one believes that a phenomenon is important of itself, therein lies the danger. A story of the Buddha reports that he was approached at the shores of the Ganges by an ascetic monk who proclaimed that after 40 years of struggle and study and self-mortification, he had finally attained the ability to walk on water and could demonstrate this by walking across the river. The Buddha replied, "Ok, but if I give the ferryman this coin, he will take me across today". The monk had obviousl become enamored by the ideal of walking on water and beleived that this was important, perhaps a sign of advanced spiritual development. If these activities are performed because it is the appropriate action at the time, then they are fitting. If they are performed to demonstrate one's powers or to manipulate or convince others, then they are harmful to the soul as they feed the ego element in man. As soon as one is attached to the outcome, the door is open to making the phenomena important. An example of this is given in the movie 'The Matrix' where all the freedom fighters were able, when inserted into the Matrix, to perform miracles. They utilized this ability only when necessary and with discretion to accomplish what was required. The dark agents were also able to and did use the same skills to oppose them. Even though his abilities far surpassed those of his
colleagues, it was not until Neo was able to actually See the
Matrix for what it was, that he realized the ability to transcend it.
It is also important to note that Neo was only able to make this leap
while in the process of selflessly serving the Cause without any
thought of personal consequences, personal gain or glory (since he had
already been told he was not the One). Q. I have heard the word "miscreation" mentioned several times recently. Can you help me understand what is meant by this? It is my understanding that ALL things came from one Source, one Creator and are here to learn lessons necessary for their spiritual evolution... and when we come in contact with them, there is something there for us to learn so that we may advance in our spiritual evolution. In my thinking, the term "miscreation" is equal to "mistake", and as I believe that all is in divine order, I do not believe in mistakes. Can you give me your opinion on this? A. Firstly, we would never disrespect anyone so much that we would impose our "thinking" on them. In other words we would not bother anyone with opinions; our's or anyone else's. We are only concerned with Truth here. In answer to your first question, perhaps you may have heard the hermetic axiom: "as above, so below"? This truth testifies to the reality that the universe is a holographic creation. Therefore, we may observe the same pattern of good and evil in many different forms and in many different ways throughout existence here in the lower worlds. Since man can make mistakes, then so can other beings who may be much more advanced than man, who may be much farther up the spiral of development than man, but who are not divinely perfected (as, of course, man is not perfect). Miscreation was one of the results incurred by relatively advanced extraterrestrial beings who were here on Earth long ago and who genetically manipulated/created a whole host of imperfect forms in all of the lower kingdoms on Earth: mineral, vegetable, animal, and also human. Humanity itself is just today beginning to recall certain technological/scientific understanding that was previously (and mercifully) lost, and which allows for the genetic miscreation of hybrid species of plants, vegetables, animals and even anthropoids. You only need do a little research to see that this is public knowledge today, and this whole subject of co-creation and genetic manipulation is one which is being avidly discussed all over the world at this time of global awakening. |
