SERVERS' THREADS OF CONSCIOUSNESS

Q. I have read Servers of the Divine Plan (SDP) and have the following question regarding the 'threads of consciousness' of which you speak. Are each of these threads of consciousness a unique point of expression for just one civilization?

A. Well, you know how complex things can become when we rely upon the intellect to try to understand the activity and realities in the higher, subtle worlds. We felt that SDP was already complicated enough and so use the analogy of single threads and civilizations in order to simplify. For the thinking mind of the student such an analogy is adequate. However, the actual reality is beyond the mind's capacity to comprehend.

Let us use a pertinent analogy here in order to give some further idea. If I were a group soul, then I would only require to send down into a Server's personality one tiny aspect, one holographic part of myself as a representative for my total consciousness, for that thread would be, in miniature, the whole of my civilization, since in a holographic universe the part is actually also the whole. However, who is to say that if certain civilizations are at war within themselves (as is the human civilization on Earth, for example) whether such a warring group might send down numerous threads representing all the different factions within one civilization? There may be many different permutations of this pattern, and SDP leaves much to the contemplation of the reader, for to explain it all would be a never-ending process; an unending literary task. It would also make for a very intellectual, impractical and boring book!

SERVICE I

Q. I am unsure as to what my service should be. Can you help?

A. It is the duty of any servant of Christ to offer Knowledge and a field of service; that is all. Progress upon the Path ensues only when we take initiative and do whatever we feel is best for the greater good of all. The Path unfolds from within ourselves once we get busy with God's work (on whatever level upon which we are inspired to work, physical included - remember Mother Theresa).

Go forth with a helpful attitude in whatever capacity you are able, and your service will become a natural expression.

SERVICE II

Q. Thank you for your patience and humility, and thank you also for the Work that you are selflessly undertaking. I shall endeavor to take your example as my inspiration to Serve.

A. Essentially, only Christ can truly Serve - through us - as we lose all interest in our 'I' and its activities.

SERVICE III

Q. How may I serve humanity better?

A. Your own particular service will necessarily be unique to you, but will remain a part of the One Work as long as you remain empty, tranquil and desireless in your earnest ministrations. Watch, listen and obey the Voice of your own Soul.

SERVICE IV

Q. I have now understood that selfless service is the way. I shall do the best that I can in order to serve humanity well.

A. We appreciate your candor and note your intentions.

Just one point: Service is not something that is done by the personality. Esoterically speaking, Service is the spontaneous outflow of spiritual energy resulting from contact made by the personality with the divine Spark in the heart. It is the Spirit that serves, or more precisely, it is God who serves via the instrument of the divinely-aligned soul.

Beware of getting caught up with the idea of service. Many pseudo philanthropists 'try' to serve and just get in the way and create complications, confusion and karma for themselves and others.

As a general rule, if you love the Truth and seek Knowledge, your divine Spark will respond, and so natural, spontaneous Service will flow from you, sometimes without you even being aware of it (this is true Service). To walk the Path, one must put the Truth first with no lesser dualistic considerations whatsoever.

If we harbor any notion of 'I am or I will serve', we are not yet firmly on the Path.

Q. Yes. Understood. Let us take, for example, H's latest outpouring: the sad thing is that he believes it! You hit the nail on the head when you bring up the difference between the self/ego wanting to serve in order to pat itself on the back and the GOD-SELF BEING IMPELLED TO SERVE with no thought of anything else, because the GOD-SELF has no other choice. With the first, the self/ego obtains a sense of ego-gratification in doing what it believes is the loving action; this produces binding karma. With the second, the SELF obtains a sense of being directed by God - or being on the glidepath guided by LOVE; this brings karma to the surface consciousness and presents the opportunity to release one's bindings. With the first, there are always choices. With the second, there is no other choice.

I find it most depressing that the entire planet appears to be populated with hundreds of thousands of 'lightworkers' (of which I used to be one) who are operating from the first platform and not the second. It is apparently a brilliantly orchestrated prison-warder plot that appears to be working very well.

A. You demonstrate right understanding.

Today, the world is going mad (even more than usual!), and the luciferic consciousness in man has become exceedingly adept and convincing in its pandemic imitation. But the sifting process proceeds apace. No one can hide anymore from those whose eyes are being opened.

SERVICE: CHOICE OR NO CHOICE

Q. It seems to me that Sanity is synonymous with selfless Service. Am I right?

A. Once the divine Spark is awakened and the lesser self has surrendered to the Greater Self, the awakened one has no choice but to serve. If an element of choice enters, then the surrender has not occurred and the ego is still in charge. However, as far as the unawakened are concerned, promulgating this idea is similar to trying to explain the color pink to someone who has been blind from birth. Until the blind person is able to see, the color will forever remain a mystery.

Many would-be Servers, lacking both Knowledge and divine-contact, often confuse the activities of kindness, gentleness, caring and compassion that spring from the lower self or personality with those that radiate from Spirit via the aligned soul. As you have correctly stated, with the first there is choice, with the second there is no choice: it is like saying that the sun has a choice whether it shines or not.
